Established in 1909, The Mount Bethel Volunteer Fire Company has served the residents of Warren Township in Somerset County, New Jersey for almost 100 years. The Mount Bethel Volunteer Fire Company, in conjunction with the three other fire companies in Warren Township, operate as the Warren Township Fire Department (Station #61). Nestled in the Watchung Mountains, The Mount Bethel Fire Company, House #1 responds to a 19.7sq mile area with approximately 15,000 residents and 7-mile stretch of I-78.


With an average of 350 incidents annually, The Mount Bethel Volunteer Fire Company has always taken great pride in providing quality, professional-level service to our residents. The Mount Bethel Volunteer Fire Company is the largest in Warren Township, consisting of 30 active volunteer firemen who respond 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
